Learn and Master Guitar

As a guitar player of some thirty odd years, all I
can say is that I wish this course would have been available when I first started playing guitar. Learn and Master
Guitar is by far the most comprehensive and best laid out guitar course I have seen. From the moment I received the
course and opened the box, I was impressed with the professional look it had. This isn't just a collection of
guitar lessons put on DVD and then leaving you on your own. This course is serious guitar training.
The author of this course, Steve Krenz, is a recording and studio musician,
with a degree in music. Even though I have been playing guitar my entire adult life, I started with the
very first lesson to get a feel for Steves' teaching style. Simply put, Steve was meant to be a guitar
instructor.

Here is how the course is setup:
|
Sessions:
|
The course is broken down into twenty
sessions. Each session builds upon the previous one. Concepts are introduced in a simple logical
sequence. |
|
Practice Time:
|
For most students, twenty to
thirty minutes of practice five days a week is a good pace. Students will typically spend two to
three weeks on each session before they are ready to move on. You will find an "estimated time to
learn" printed in your lesson book at the beginning of each session. These are estimates only and
can vary widely |
The DVDs: |
On the DVDs, each session will
have an extensive instruction time followed by a shorter workshop time. The concepts are first
explained in the instruction time, then practiced in the workshop. It is not necessary to watch the
instruction portion over and over each day. Once you have the concepts down, go straight to the
workshop for your practice time. |
The Workshop
Time: |
The workshop portion of each session is
meant to be used during your daily practice time. Generally the workshop times will be 10-15
minutes in length and will practice the main points of the session. When you are ready to practice,
turn on the workshop time and we will go over the material together, starting slowly and gradually
progressing. |
The Lesson
Book:
 |
Your lesson book contains all of the songs,
examples and exercises that appear on the DVDs. Follow along in the book as you watch the DVDs,
take notes on it, and use it any time you don't want to practice in front of your television. You
will also use it when practicing with the jam along CDs. |
Jam Along
CDs: |
This is the fun part! The jam along CDs contain
recordings of all the songs you will be learning in this course. Practice by playing along with the
guitar part. The reference guitar part has been recorded in the left channel, so you can turn it
down by simply adjusting the balance on your stereo. |
|
Community
Website:

|
The community website is one of the most important
parts of the course. There you can post questions, discuss your progress and get helpful
information, support and encouragement from Steve and fellow learners from all over the
world. |

Testimonials
"Learn & Master Guitar is a phenomenal program. It's clear and concise and watching the
DVDs is like having your very own guitar instructor in the room with you. The course is extremely thorough and well
planned out. It's like having at least a year's worth of guitar lessons in one complete package! I wish a program
like this existed when I was learning to play—it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration!!!"
— Michael Elsner, Professional Guitar Player
Encino, California
"This is really the first time I have ever been excited about learning guitar! What I really like are the
practice lessons. They are tricky enough to force you to work with them, but simple enough that you can figure them
out and feel like you're succeeding in it. Before when I was learning, I didn't have a way to judge how I was
doing. With Learn & Master Guitar, I can see myself taking little steps and have the
satisfaction that I am truly learning something."
— Chris Helsel, Beginning Guitar Player
Austin, Texas
"My husband has been trying to learn guitar for two years by struggling through books. A few chords he picked up
right away, but he never seemed to be able to progress much beyond that. He would always say, 'I just need someone
to show me!' Since starting Learn & Master Guitar, he's improved his fingering, his
understanding of how to read music, and he is finally excited enough to stay motivated and practice regularly.
Thank you!!!"

After getting through about half of the
DVDs, I realized that this course was better than having a private instructor. You have the lessons available
to you all the time and the DVDs are of very professional quality. This course will take you from a complete
beginner to an accomplished guitar player if you go all the way through it.
Even if you are an intermediate player already, I would still recommend at least glancing
over the first few sessions as I found there were some fundamentals that I was never exposed to. You will quickly
find where in the course you need to start. The amount of material covered in this course would probably cost you
over 2,000 dollars in private lessons. I would highly recommend this course if you are looking to get your child
into guitar lessons. I would say if they are under 8 years old you would probably need to supervise them in the
beginning, until they understand how to use it.
If you are serious about learning how to play guitar this is the only course you
will need. With Learn and Master Guitar you will understand the foundation of
the entire guitar, not just learn how to play some songs and guitar riffs. You will understand music and how it all
works on the guitar fretboard, so you will be able to take your playing ability to whatever level you desire.
And as this comes with a full 60 day money back
guarantee, you have absolutely nothing to
lose.
